Men’s hockey 3rds never got going

In the first men’s hockey match of the day, a disappointing game for Lancaster ended in a 6-0 victory for York. Lancaster played a competent game but York had an extremely strong side that never gave Lancaster much room to breathe and prevented them from ever gaining any momentum.

By the time York had scored their first couple of goals it looked very unlikely that Lancaster would come back. “The game didn’t really go our way from the beginning,” Lancaster’s Dan Milverton told us, “it could have been a lot closer, but we never really got going.”
