The Women’s 1st team started their game flying, with Lancaster VP for Sport Sue Wynes scoring two early goals.
York showed their nerves, as they missed a penalty. Lancaster withstood some heavy pressure, particularly after York scored with only minutes to go, this time courtesy of a successfully converted penalty. Lancaster held on though to claim the two points.
