This is a crucial role within SCAN for the upcoming year – the successful applicant will be responsible for developing the strategy for our online output alongside the SCAN Editor. Further, the successful applicant will be required to edit stories for online publications from the array of sections that SCAN has, as well as putting articles up online for general readership.
In particular, this role will require you to:
- Edit and produce a constant stream of articles for our online readership.
- Produce our live-blogging stories.
- Contribute fully and directly towards SCAN’s online editorial policy.
- Liaise with all sections of SCAN to ensure consistency of posts on the website.
Experience in SCAN is desirable but applications will be considered from applicants with other relevant experience. Candidates with no previous experience in SCAN should not be dissuaded from applying – I welcome applications from anyone with a desire to learn and contribute to the paper.
