LA1:TV has been shortlisted in the People’s Choice awards for their ‘Soundbooth Sessions’ event and live coverage. The ‘Later with Jools Holland’ esque event, which featured 8 lives bands on 3 stages, was held in The Great Hall in week 7 of Michaelmas Term. It attracted a large crowd and was followed up by hundreds of views on Youtube and the LA1:TV Website.
Soundbooth Sessions has been nominated along side entries such as Live Elections coverage from Southampton Students Union TV Station SUSUtv and Yorks TV station YSTVs coverage of Woodstock.
