A team of Lancaster University students will hopefully be participating in University Challenge next year.
Audition rounds for the Lancaster University team were held in week six this term. The successful students who will go on to represent the University were informed earlier this week.
The team from Lancaster are set to sit further interviews with the show’s production team. Robin Hughes, LUSU Vice President (Academic), says that if Lancaster’s chosen team succeeds in the initial section they will compete in the televised competition.
It will be the eighteenth series of the popular television programme which will both be filmed and aired in 2011.
