The Lancaster-based nightclub formerly known as GLOW has cancelled its launch event following a police appeal for witnesses regarding the “significant damage” to the building.
In a statement released today on social media, Vibe has announced that “due to recent events that are beyond our control, and after taking advice from local authorities, we have had no option but to sadly postpone our planned launch night.”
This cancellation follows several reports of paint being poured over the doors, windows being shattered, and recently, a car being driven into the front entrance.
The car, which Lancashire Police have identified as a dark-coloured Ford Focus, is said to have driven into the doors of the nightclub in early this morning.
Anyone with any information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact the police via 101 quoting “log 96 of October 22nd” or by visiting the Lancashire Police website.
Vibe has confirmed that everyone with tickets for the launch event will be able to use them for the new relaunch date or will be entitled to a refund.
