York debate their way to 4 points

Two teams of debaters sit at opposite ends of a lecture hall. They will be in here for four hours. They will be strategizing, building their own arguments and setting traps for their opponents. At the end they will be exhausted. For now though, they don’t even know what it is they will be arguing.

At the end of the day, the judge’s decision is final. They evaluate the teams not based on what they argue, but on how they argue it. They are looking for passion, conviction, clarity, and from both teams they are spoiled for choice. The speakers are well-seasoned, they know exactly how to get a point across with the necessary mix of force and credibility.

After taking the first two rounds York had an insurmountable lead, claiming 4 points for their overall Roses score.
