On behalf on the 520 Lonsdale reshers who joined our university a fortnight ago, and the thousands of other freshers who are now settling into Lancaster University, may I thank every single Kitchen/Fresher Rep who did such a superb job over a long and difficult week. In the last edition of SCAN, it was suggested that Kitchen Reps are CV hunters and irresponsible. I couldn’t disagree more, and neither could the SCR of Lonsdale, who commented on what a superb group of Kitchen Reps they were this year. Reps are essential to Freshers’ Week and they will be for a very long time to come.
