Lancaster have suffered a staggering Roses tournament defeat today at the hands of York University.

Lancaster and York square up for Judo
For most of the Lancaster Judo squad this was their first senior competition. It’s to their credit then that they were able to claw back some much needed, but ultimately redundant points, for Lancaster late this afternoon as the squad took to force their York rivals.
