What’s in Isobel’s Wardrobe?

What is your favourite item in your wardrobe and why?

My favourite item in my wardrobe right now is my Zara leather blazer that you see trending all over social media. I love it! To me it feels like a protective barrier, I feel confident, sexy and sophisticated which I
believe is so important. I wear it everywhere I can right now due to the lockdown and I purchased it for half the price off in the end of the season sale. I’m that kind of person that I will probably buy it in another colour; hopefully, they come out with a nice dark chocolate one.

What has been your biggest fashion faux pas?

Buying everything with graphic slogans on and brightly coloured neon clothing. This just doesn’t suit me at all! I strongly believe style should be original and reflect you as a person, how you put yourself out there to the world instead of buying something based on what’s ‘popular’ or ‘trendy’. I don’t dispute the fact that my style will constantly change or evolve but I’m very happy and confident with my collection right now, simple yet eclectic.

What will you by buying next to add to your wardrobe?

I don’t need any more clothes right now after consistently ordering from Zara but, definitely another pair of shoes. I don’t really have a big collection, so I tend to over-wear causing them to ruin. I mean, do I
really need shoes right now being stuck in the house? Probably not, but I would love a pair of cowboy boots by Asra on Asos they are gorgeous! I’m not sure if I could pull them off but would love to try especially as I believe they are an all-season shoe. My wardrobe is full of staple pieces that I have
collected over the years so this would be the perfect purchase to join my collection.

Where is your favourite place to shop?

It’s predictable but Zara, they have so many great pieces whether that be more luxury and expensive clothing or basic staples that are a must-have in anyone’s wardrobe. If you want to try out a style but are not too sure it’s for you, I would recommend Zara. However, I love AllSaints it’s very edgy and
monochromatic which is my style, it is a little pricey, so I tend to shop in the sale or my local outlet store.

Are there any accessories you can’t live without?

I never used to be a big jewellery fan, but I’m constantly wearing my Tiffany’s necklace gifted by my boyfriend. I love silver over gold I believe it matches my complexion better. I always have a good handbag as well; I feel as though it completes an outfit. I would say that I prefer handbags over shoes for sure as I like to keep it simple. An accessory I can’t live without right now though has to be my facemask, the accessory of 2020 is still in!
